Today was P's 15 month check up and wow. NOT FUN. 3 shots and a finger prick. Poor baby. The shots were brutal and she screamed her head off and kicked the nurse. Just when she thought it was over we headed downstairs to the lab for the finger prick. I always tell myself its whats best for her but that doesn't make it any easier to see her so upset.
Before the shots obviously.
When we got home I let her eat a cupcake to make up for her bad day.
She's feeling much better.
So her 15 month stats are...
22.8lbs ( 44%)
18.5" head circumference (80%)
Our pedi talked to us about discipline and told us 15 months starts the time of little terror tots. Where temper tantrums, hitting, kicking, biting, etc start. Oh joy! I've already seen a lot of those things happening. When P doesn't get her way she is one pissed off little midget. She throws herself down and rolls around. Oyi.
I asked Dr. Natalie about her legs since some people swore that she needed leg braces because her feet turn in a little when she walks (I never notice it). Dr. Natalie disagreed and said she was perfect and that she will be bow legged and have her feet turn in and toes curl for awhile while she learns to walk and as she gets older her leg bones will straighten out and she will be fine. I knew she was fine.
