This weekend we had the hickey family come visit. They have a son that is a month and a day older than P and it is SO fun to watch the babies play. We hung out on Friday night and the babies opened their presents from each other. P was spoiled by her boyfriend, as usual. I made dinner and we just relaxed. Saturday we woke up and went to the outlet mall. It was freezing and busy as crap. We then went downtown to michigan avenue to shop and see the tree. It was so cold but I had a really good time. If you remember last christmas P got two american girl dolls (well one was actually for me - read the story on that here.) I have never been to the american girl doll store so we went. That place is a little girl's (or my) dream! It is HUGE and they have a photo studio where you can get your pictures done with your doll. They also have a hair salon where you can take your doll to get it's hair done. Not to mention two floors of dolls and clothes and accessories. Dustin and I decided that we will start a new tradition for P and buy her a new doll outfit every christmas (and maybe birthday?) so that she will have tons of clothes by the time she is old enough to actually play with her dolls. So we picked out a cute new outfit for her doll yesterday :) I am such a kid at heart. I totally loved that store.
We ended the night with dinner at Cheesecake factory and finnnnalllly made it home way too late. I am exhausted today.
Here are some pics. Don't mind my hair and my big frozen smile.
